Description
The New York City Immigrant Orientation Center is an information center that provides immigrants with guides, legal referrals, employment assistance, housing and shelter resources, food and nutrition support, assistance with health care registration, connections to community and religious leaders, school registration assistance, as well as maps, brochures, coupons, and discounts to meet all their needs in the city. Our staff speaks more than ten languages and is available for consultations.
Immigration Legal Services
The Immigrant Orientation Center works very closely with immigration legal services around the country and refers many asylum seekers to those organizations for free.
The IOC helps immigrants find free or low-cost assistance with immigration legal services. We also provide free referrals to trustworthy nonprofit and government agency partners.
